10 Useful Apps to Improve Your Quality of Life

With the advancement of technology increasing rapidly, there are many ways in which you can use technology to your advantage and improve the quality of your life. There are many applications, or "apps", that can be downloaded to your mobile devices and make daily activities effortless and more time-efficient.

1. Uber

Uber is a ridesharing app that allows you to schedule rides to anywhere you’d like (airport, doctor’s appointment, bank, etc.) right from your phone. Insert your payment information one time and it is saved on the app for all of your future rides, so there is no need to worry about cash or card. You can enter your destination into the app, and it will predict the cost of your ride and what time your driver will arrive. Drivers typically arrive within minutes and are ready to bring you on your way. Uber is available in most cities across the continental United States.

2. Mobile-Banking Apps

Mobile-Banking apps can save you a trip (or many!) to the bank. They allow for you to perform many banking functions on the go, such as: check your balance, deposit checks, pay bills and transfer money. For example, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, Citi, CapitalOne, and HSBC all have their own Mobile-Banking apps. Check out the App Store to see if your bank has their own app.
